I want to thank you all for joining Valleywide Events. This company was a dream of mine. I had so much fun creating it, keeping up the website, but I’m not going to lie: the whole experience had its ups and downs.

 

On October 17th it will be two years that we’ve been functioning; assisting Valley residents in finding events to attend and the opportunity to meet people. With that said, we are closing shop on November 1, 2026. 

 

We will continue to run events at about 2/3rds of the amount we’re used to (in only four sectors of the Valley), and everyone should attend the Game Night at the Pemberton in downtown Phoenix on the 15th.

If you would like to cancel your subscriptions before November, feel free to do so, but we will be stopping all membership subscriptions on October 31st.

 

With Phoenix being the fifth largest city in the nation, and the great interest people have expressed online for opportunities like we’ve provided, we were hoping millions of people would join. Well, at least tens of thousands.

​

We never got more than 150 members to join. With the time and money it costs to operate this business and the way the internet works now with a wonky algorithm, people never found us. We marketed and advertised in person too, at First Fridays, and people followed us online but few joined. So, we must move on.

 

I’m sad. I’m incredibly sad about this. I wish things could have been better. But, sometimes dreams don’t come true.

 

Again, I thank all who have joined and attended our events. That truly means a lot to me.
